After visiting on short term trips for six years, Nathan served in Guatemala for three months in 2023 as he sought the Lord concerning full-time missions. The Lord confirmed His calling on Nathan’s life to serve with New Hope Global in Guatemala. New Hope is honored to have Nathan on our team. His heart is to be a disciple who trains disciples until there is no place left without the Gospel.

Eileen Lopéz
Resident Discipleship Trainer

A Resident Discipleship Trainer is a committed leader who lives within a community to mentor and equip others in their faith. Through teaching, one-on-one guidance, and modeling Christ-centered living, they help individuals deepen their spiritual walk. They lead discipleship programs, foster a supportive community, and encourage personal transformation, creating an environment where people can grow and become dedicated followers of Jesus Christ.

Daniel Roberson
New Hope Discipleship Trainer

Daniel Roberson began serving in Guatemala in 2020, after spending time in Honduras. During that year, he felt the calling to full time missions. In December of 2022, Daniel moved to Guatemala full time. God has made a way for Daniel to join the New Hope Staff, and we couldn't be happier. As a trained disciple who has a heart to make other disciples, Daniel is a crucial part of the team.
Our Interns
Our interns help oversee New Hope Gap, a ministry designed to align young adults with the heart of Jesus. With prior experience serving in Guatemala, they are passionate about making disciples who make disciples. We are grateful for their obedience to the Lord and the valuable role they each play on our team.
