Richard & Lauree Hayden
Founders & President
Richard and Lauree, founders of New Hope Global, have been serving in Guatemala since 2019. After a short-term trip in 2017, they sensed the Lord leading their family to move and serve as full-time missionaries. Together with their sons, Caleb and Joshua, they are passionate about being disciples who make disciples. Lauree also holds a Master’s in Biblical Counseling and provides one-on-one counseling and mentoring for our staff and others.
Omar & Emma GarcÃa
Discipleship Trainers
Omar and Emma serve together in Guatemala as discipleship trainers with New Hope Global Ministries. With a heart for youth and young adults, they are passionate about being disciples who make disciples. Through teaching, mentoring, and modeling a Christ-centered life, they invest in the next generation—equipping them to grow in their faith and carry the Gospel to Guatemala and beyond.
Brice & Abby Martin
Field Coordinators
Brice and Abby, originally from Griffin, Georgia, previously served as missionaries in Quebec before following God’s call to Guatemala and to serve with New Hope Global. They have two daughters, Sarah and Leah. Passionate about the Great Commission, they are dedicated to making disciples and equipping others to follow Christ.
Nathan Cole
Discipleship Trainer
After six years of short-term trips, Nathan spent three months in Guatemala in 2023 seeking the Lord about full-time missions. During that time, God confirmed His call for Nathan to serve with New Hope Global in Guatemala. His heart is to be a disciple who trains disciples until there is no place left without the Gospel.
Eileen López
Discipleship Trainer
As a Discipleship Trainer, Eileen lives within the community to mentor and equip others in their faith. Through teaching, one-on-one guidance, and modeling a Christ-centered life, she helps people deepen their walk with Jesus and grow into disciples who make disciples.
Caleb Hayden
Resident Social Media Coordinator
Caleb moved to Guatemala in 2019 with his family. While primarily serving in discipleship, he has also developed a strong interest and gifting in social media and photography. He is passionate about using these gifts to make Jesus known.
